Introduction About ZINCODERM GM NEO CREAM

ZINCODERM GM NEO CREAM is a combination of Clobetasol, Miconazole and Neomycin which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids, Antifungals and Antibiotics. It is used to manage resistant dermatoses (skin infections) with secondary bacterial or fungal infection.

ZINCODERM GM NEO CREAM is not recommended for use in patients with rosacea, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, perianal and genital pruritus, viral infections (ex. herpes simplex, chickenpox) and perforated eardrum. Contact your doctor before applying. ZINCODERM GM NEO CREAM should be used with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease. Contact your doctor before applying.

ZINCODERM GM NEO CREAM is generally not recommended for use in pregnancy unless considered clearly necessary. ZINCODERM GM NEO CREAM should be used with caution in breastfeeding women as it is not known whether it may pass through the breast milk. Contact your doctor before applying. ZINCODERM GM NEO CREAM is not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age. Contact your doctor before applying.

How ZINCODERM GM NEO CREAM Works

ZINCODERM GM NEO CREAM helps to manage infection, where Clobetasol have anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive properties, which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Miconazole belongs to antifungal which stops the growth of fungi while Neomycin belongs to antibiotic which stops the growth of bacteria in the skin.

How to use ZINCODERM GM NEO CREAM

Apply ZINCODERM GM NEO CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash your hands with soap and water and apply a thin layer of the medicine to the affected area of the skin and rub it gently. Avoid contact with eyes, face, groin or in the skin folds.

  • neuromuscular blocking agents like atracurium, pancuronium (medicines used in anaesthesia)
  • warfarin (medicines used to manage or manage blood clots)
