Introduction About TRIFER DROPS
Trifer Drops is a hematinic used for the management of iron deficiency anaemia in infants, adolescents, adults, pregnant women, and lactating women. It is also indicated for anaemia due to postpartum haemorrhage (severe vaginal bleeding after childbirth). It contains Iron (III) hydroxide polymaltose complex as an active ingredient that help fulfil iron requirements.
Iron III hydroxide polymaltose helps by providing utilisable iron to target tissues. It helps deliver iron across red blood cells, to transferrin (iron transport protein) and to ferritin (iron storage protein). This iron gets incorporated into haemoglobin during red blood cell formation and thus helps in the correction of iron deficiency anaemia.
Take Trifer Drops as directed by your doctor. Do not use if you have conditions such as iron overload, iron storage disorder, thalassaemia, or anaemia not caused due to iron deficiency. Trifer Drops are safe for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women but always consult your doctor before taking it.
