THIOQUEST TWIST 8 CAPSULEcontains Thiocolchicoside, which belongs to the group of medicines called Muscle relaxants. It is used in adults and adolescents over 16 years of age to manage painful muscle contractions and for acute painful conditions related to the spine. THIOQUEST TWIST 8 CAPSULE is not recommended for use by pregnant or breastfeeding women. THIOQUEST TWIST 8 CAPSULE should not be used by children or adolescents under the age of 16. THIOQUEST TWIST 8 CAPSULE works through selective binding to the GABA-A receptor (neurotransmitter). It manages muscle contractions by activating the GABA-inhibitory motor pathway and inhibiting the glycine receptors (neurotransmitters). Thus, relaxing the muscle pain and spasms.
How to use THIOQUEST TWIST 8 CAPSULE
Take THIOQUEST TWIST 8 CAPSULE as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the right dose and duration depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.

Nausea
Try to take THIOQUEST TWIST 8 CAPSULE with or just after a meal or a snack. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating rich or spicy food. Consult your doctor if your symptom gets worse.
Itchy skin:
Avoid taking hot showers as they can irritate the skin. Do not scratch the affected area. Use sunscreen and protective clothing when going outdoors or use unscented moisturizers to soothe and hydrate the skin. Consult your doctor if your symptom gets worse.
Diarrhoea:
Drink plenty of water or fruit juices to keep yourself hydrated. Don’t take any medicine on your own to manage diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if your symptom gets worse.
