SIMCOOL SUGAR FREE MINT FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION is a combination of Magaldrate and Simethicone which belongs to the group of medicines called Antacids and Anti-flatulent agents respectively. It is used for the management of heartburn (burning sensation in the chest due to stomach acid travelling up towards the throat), hyperacidity (excess acidity in stomach), indigestion, flatulence (expulsion of gas out of the body's intestines via the anus), bloating (buildup of gas in the stomach and intestines) and sour stomach.
It is also used to manage esophagitis (inflammation of the lining of the esophagus) or gastritis (inflammation of the lining of the stomach), stomach or stress ulcers (open sores that develop on the lining of the stomach which may also occur due to stress) and gastroesophageal reflux (condition in which the stomach contents move up into the esophagus (food pipe).
Avoid alcohol, carbonated drinks and reduce intake of citrus fruit juices, caffeine to reduce acidity and gas problems. Also try to maintain a healthy diet plan with adequate sleep to get better results.
SIMCOOL SUGAR FREE MINT FLAVOUR ORAL SUSPENSION is not recommended for use in patients with high magnesium levels in blood, low phosphate levels in the blood, diarrhea and severe liver or kidney impairment.
