Introduction About NEFGUARD TABLET

Nefguard Tablet is a kidney protecting medicine used to manage kidney diseases. It helps in managing microalbuminuria (protein loss via urine) among patients suffering from diabetic kidney diseases. It contains N-Acetylcysteine and Taurine as active ingredients.

N-Acetylcysteine and taurine are powerful antioxidants. They protect your cells against the damage caused due to oxidative stress and free radicals (toxins). This action helps in managing the kidney cells from getting damaged further. Additionally, N-Acetylcysteine also improves blood supply to the kidneys which makes your kidneys function better.

Before taking Nefguard Tablet inform your doctor if you have acute asthma, allergic eye conditions or any skin allergies as a precaution. Nefguard Tablet is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women unless considered necessary by the physician. Avoid concomitant use of Nefguard Tablet with cough medicines and antibiotics as a precaution.

The most common side effects of taking Nefguard Tablets are nausea, vomiting, fever, runny nose, diarrhea, stomach pain, skin rashes, throat irritation, drowsiness, shortness of breath and oral sores. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects troubles you.
