N-Acetylcysteine + Taurine works by slowing down the process of the damage of the kidney cells and accordingly improves kidney functioning. It also helps in forestalling the disintegration of some microalbuminuria in diabetic kidney infections. In paracetamol poisoning it prevents deterioration of microalbuminuria and enhances non-toxic sulphate conjugation of paracetamol.
