MYOCYST M TABLET contains a combination of Metformin and Myo Inositol, which belong to groups of medicines called antidiabetic agents and nutritional supplements, respectively. It is used in the management of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) in women. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a hormonal disorder among women of reproductive age that causes the ovaries to enlarge, which manages the release of eggs at regular intervals. The symptoms may include menstrual irregularity, excess hair growth, acne, weight gain, etc.

While taking MYOCYST M TABLET, your doctor will monitor your blood sugar level, and kidney functions at regular intervals. During the course of management with MYOCYST M TABLET, your doctor may advise regular monitoring of blood sugar levels and kidney function. Before taking MYOCYST M TABLET, inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, lung, or heart problems or should undergo any surgery. Do not consume alcohol while taking MYOCYST M TABLET as it can worsen the side effects.

Before taking MYOCYST M TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:

• medicines used to manage high blood pressure (Ex. propranolol, metoprolol)
• Medicines used in depression management (Ex. fluoxetine, amitriptyline)
• cholesterol-lowering agents (Ex. cholestyramine)
• fluorouracil (used in cancer management)
• sulfasalazine (used to manage stomach or duodenum ulcers)
• medicines used to relieve pain and inflammation (Ex. ibuprofen, celecoxib)
• medicine used to manage heart conditions (Ex. digoxin, digitalis)
• medicines used to provide relief from inflammation (Ex. prednisone, hydrocortisone)

Overdosage:

If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of MYOCYST M TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose are lactic acidosis (vomiting, stomachache, muscle cramps, tiredness, difficulty breathing, reduced body temperature and heartbeat) as this condition may lead to coma.
