LIVAFIN CREAM contains Amorolfine, which belongs to the group of medicines called Topical Anti-fungals. It is used in the management of fungal infections of the skin such as tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, and tinea manuum. It is also used for managing cutaneous candidiasis and pityriasis versicolor.
A fungal infection also called mycosis is caused by a fungus. Some fungal infections occur when an invading fungus takes over an area of the body and is too much for the immune system to handle. The symptoms of a fungal infection will depend on the type, but common symptoms include the following skin changes, including cracking or peeling skin and itching.
