Health Tips for Amorolfine
- Always use amorolfine exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider
- Before applying amorolfine, it's important to properly clean and trim the affected nails. Use a nail file to gently remove any loose or damaged nail material. This will help the medication to penetrate the nail better
- Ensure that the affected area is clean and dry before applying the medication. This helps to prevent the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms
- Apply the amorolfine nail lacquer to the affected nails according to the instructions provided. Use the applicator brush provided with the medication to apply a thin layer to the entire nail surface and the surrounding skin
- Be careful not to allow the medication to come into contact with your eyes, mouth, or any other mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse the area thoroughly with water
- Practice good nail and foot hygiene to reduce the risk of fungal infection recurrence. Keep your nails clean and dry, and avoid sharing personal items like nail files, clippers, and socks
- While using amorolfine, it's generally recommended to avoid using nail polish or other cosmetic products on the treated nails. These products can interfere with the medication's effectiveness
