Introduction About LACTIGOL GRANULES

LACTIGOL Granules is a laxative that helps to manage constipation. It contains Lactitol Monohydrate and Ispaghula husk as active ingredients.

Lactitol is an osmotic laxative which exerts its pharmacologic effect by creating a hyperosmotic environment within the small intestine. The osmotic effect generated by lactitol draws water into the small intestine, which loosens stools and ultimately facilitates bowel movements. Ispaghula husk works by bulking faeces up with fluid so that it's softer.

Take LACTIGOL Granules as advised by your doctor. Take 15gm of granules and mix in 200-240 ml of water. Stir well and consume immediately. Take once or twice a day during mealtimes. It is not recommended for use in patients with intestinal obstruction, fecal impaction, colonic atony.
