Introduction About K CIT ORAL SOLUTION

K Cit Oral Solution is an alkalinizing agent use to manage conditions where long-term maintenance of an alkaline urine is desired such as in patients with uric acid and cystine calculi of the urinary tract, especially when the administration of sodium salts is unwanted or prohibited. Additionally, as urates tend to crystallize out of an acid urine, it is a useful adjuvant when given along with uricosuric medicines in gout therapy. It is also useful in managing the acidosis caused by some renal tubular diseases. It contains Potassium Citrate and Citric Acid as an active ingredient which is used to alkalize urine.

Potassium citrate and Citric acid acts as a systemic alkalizer which helps to make your urine less acidic. It also used to manage acidosis or manage kidney stones or gout in affected individuals.
