Introduction About FOLISTAT TABLET

Folistat Tablet is a vitamin supplement that aids in the management of reduced red blood cell count (anaemia) due to deficiency of folic acid in adults and children, in pregnancy. Folistat Tablet is also used to manage anaemia, that occurs as a side effect from management with certain medicines, anaemia due to damaged red blood cells and anaemia in patients on kidney dialysis. It contains Folic acid as active ingredient.

Folic acid is an essential vitamin necessary for the production and maintenance of red blood cells. It also manages brain and spinal cord birth defects in pregnant women.

Take Folistat Tablet as directed by the doctor. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the tablet. Inform your doctor if you are undergoing a management for kidney failure such as haemodialysis or if you are diagnosed with cancer, pernicious anemia or vitamin B12 deficiency or scheduled for heart surgery.
