Introduction About ESAVA SOAP
Esava Soap is an anti-fungal medicated soap that is used to manage tinea versicolor (common fungal infection that causes small, discoloured patches of skin). Also, it is used as an adjuvant therapy with various oral and topical anti-fungal agents to manage recurrence of tinea and candida skin infection. It contains ketoconazole as an active ingredient that effectively manages fungal infection of the skin.
Ketoconazole works by killing the fungi by disrupting the production of ergosterol, which is an essential component of fungal cell membrane, as a result the cell membrane of the fungi gets disrupted leading to the death of the fungi.
