Introduction About DYCERIN 50MG CAPSULE

DYCERIN 50MG CAPSULE contains Diacerein which belongs to the group of medicines called Anthraquinones. It is used for the symptomatic management of functional symptoms of osteoarthritis.

Osteoarthritis is a common progressive disorder affecting primarily weight bearing joints (knee, hip), characterised by progressive destruction of cartilage causing pain, limitation of motion, stiffness, deformity and disability.

Prior to the management, your doctor may want you to take several blood tests to understand your existing condition like liver disease.

Avoid taking alcohol with DYCERIN 50MG CAPSULE as it may increase the risk of liver damage. DYCERIN 50MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients having liver or kidney disease, colitis or crohn’s disease, partial or complete intestinal obstruction or abdominal pain with an unknown cause.

Inform your doctor, if you have kidney or urinary problems, history of diarrhea, irritable bowel disease, rare hereditary diseases such as congenital galactosemia, glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome or lactase deficiency.

DYCERIN 50MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Contact your doctor before taking.

DYCERIN 50MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 15 years of age. Contact your doctor before taking.
