INTRODUCTION

CEREBROLYSIN (SUN) contains Cerebrolysin which belongs to the group of medicines called Nootropics and Neurotronic agents. It is used to manage cranial injury (injury in the brain) and other problems in the brain caused due to poor blood flow such as stroke or vascular dementia (problems in thinking, memory, and reasoning). It can also be used to improve memory and thinking in patients having dementia or Alzheimer’s disease (memory loss caused due to destruction of brain cells) and to reduce overstimulation of the brain cells.

CEREBROLYSIN (SUN) should be used only under careful medical supervision. Before receiving CEREBROLYSIN (SUN) inform your doctor if you have epilepsy or severe kidney disease. Talk to your doctor if you are allergic to cerebrolysin or to any other protein substances before receiving CEREBROLYSIN (SUN).

HOW CEREBROLYSIN (SUN) WORKS

CEREBROLYSIN (SUN) is a neuroprotective agent. It works by repairing the nerve cells which improves its survival. It can reduce overstimulation of the nerve cells and improve the thickness of the blood-brain barrier (protecting covering of the brain). It also helps the brain to regain its potential and improves memory and thinking in patients suffering from memory impairment (such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease).
