Introduction About BRACE 60ML SYRUP
BRACE 60ML SYRUP is used in the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used to manage inflammation of the airways (such as bronchitis). It contains Acebrophylline which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-asthmatic agents. It blocks the release of certain chemicals (such as phosphodiesterase) in the respiratory tract that triggers airway inflammation, swelling and narrowing. As a result, it widens the airways and reduces airway inflammation. It also loosens the mucus accumulated in the airways which allows the air to pass through more freely through the airways and makes breathing easier.
BRACE 60ML SYRUP is suitable for use both in adults and in children (aged 6 years or above). Before taking the medicine, inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have fits, stomach ulcers, viral infections, hypertension or hyperthyroidism as a precaution. BRACE 60ML SYRUP is not recommended for use in pregnant women.
