INTRODUCTION

AVIL 25MG contains Pheniramine which belongs to a group of medicines called Anti-allergic agents. It is indicated to manage allergic conditions such as hay fever, drug rashes, angioneurotic oedema, serum sickness, allergic conjunctivitis, food allergy and conditions of the respiratory tract that are accompanied by increased secretion. It also prevents and manages motion sickness, nausea, vomiting and vertigo due to Menière’s disease and other labyrinthine disturbances.  

Pheniramine belongs to antihistamine agents which works by blocking certain natural substances (histamines) that cause allergic symptoms.

Before receiving AVIL 25MG, tell your physician if you have any allergic reactions such as asthma, narrow angle glaucoma, liver, kidney or heart problems. Inform your physician for advice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The common side effects are drowsiness or sleepiness.

DRIVING AND USING MACHINES

KIDNEY

ALLERGY

HEART DISEASE

AVIL 25MG should be used with caution in patients with severe cardiovascular disease and close monitoring will be required. Consult your doctor for advice.

  • symptomatic prostatic hypertrophy
  • narrow angle glaucoma
  • asthma

INTERACTIONS
