This product is intended for use by a qualified healthcare professional. Connect the funnel end of the suction catheter to the suction machine's tubing. Gently insert the catheter into the airway (tracheostomy tube, mouth, or nose) to the required depth without applying suction. Once at the desired depth, apply intermittent suction by placing and removing your thumb over the thumb control port. Gently rotate and withdraw the catheter. The suctioning process should not exceed a few seconds at a time. After use, discard the catheter as per medical waste disposal guidelines.
