Uses of Mizolastine

Mizolastine is used to reduce symptoms of hay fever (allergic reaction to pollen) and other allergic reactions that cause irritation to the eyes and nose in affected individuals. It is also used to reduce symptoms of urticaria, which is an itchy skin rash that occurs due to reaction to food, medicine, and/or other irritants in affected individuals.

Mizolastine works by blocking histamine (chemical responsible for causing allergic symptoms in the body) which helps to reduce occurrence of allergic symptoms associated with hay fever, other allergic reactions and urticaria in affected individuals.

• dry mouth, stomach pain, indigestion, nausea, diarrhea
• headache, dizziness, drowsiness, lack of energy
• increased appetite (associated with weight gain)
