Uses of Cefepime+Tazobactam

How Cefepime+Tazobactam works
Cefepime works by interrupting wall formation by binding with the enzymes responsible for cell wall synthesis. This binding causes defects in the cell wall leading to cell death and causing the death of the organism. Tazobactam is responsible for the irreversible termination of enzymbeta-lactamasesases) that protect the organism from antibiotics. Thus, both substances work by preventing cell growth and function inhibit biting bacterial growth.
