How Canagliflozin+Metformin works
Canagliflozin+Metformin effectively controls blood glucose levels, where canagliflozin works by inhibiting sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 protein in the kidneys and preventing the reabsorption of glucose from the blood into the kidneys. As a result, more glucose is excreted in urine, which helps lower blood glucose levels in the body. Metformin works by decreasing the production of glucose in the liver, decreasing the intestinal absorption of glucose, increasing insulin sensitivity, and allowing better glucose uptake and utilization by the body.
