How Bupropion works

Bupropion works by weakly inhibiting the uptake of certain neurotransmitters (norepinephrine and dopamine). This results in minimizing certain brain activities, thus managing depression.

• anorexia (an eating disorder)
• sleeplessness
• agitation, anxiety
• headache, dizziness
• taste disorder
• tremor
• vision problems
• ringing sensation in ears
• raised blood pressure, flushing
• dry mouth
• nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation
• rashes, itching, sweating
• fever, chest pain, extreme weakness
• urticaria

Consult your doctor:

• In case of accidental overdosage
• If you get the thoughts of hurting or killing yourself
• If you experience, any signs of allergic reactions (such as skin rash, swelling of the face, lips, mouth, or throat which can lead to difficulty in breathing or swallowing)
• If you experience severe chest pain with shortness of breath
