What is WOKADINE MENTHOL FLAVOUR?
- WOKADINE MENTHOL FLAVOUR contains Povidone iodine which is broad-spectrum microbicide solution for use on the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat
What WOKADINE MENTHOL FLAVOUR is used for?
It is used
- in the management of infected and inflammatory conditions of the mouth and pharynx including stomatitis, gingivitis, aphthous ulcers, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, monilial infections, common colds and influenza
- as prophylactic during and after surgery e.g. after tonsillectomy and dental procedures

Talk to your doctor before taking WOKADINE MENTHOL FLAVOUR, if you:
- are allergic to povidone iodine or any of the other ingredients
- have thyroid problems
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine
- Not to be used in children under 6 years of age
- WOKADINE MENTHOL FLAVOUR does not affect your ability to drive or use machines
Tall your doctor if you are taking
- Lithium (medicine used to manage depression)
- Always take this medicine as exactly as your doctor told you
- Dilute one part of WOKADINE MENTHOL FLAVOUR with two parts of water, rinse mouth thoroughly and spit out
- For infections of mouth and throat: Use full strength and rinse or gargle for 30 seconds then spit out, repeat hourly
If you use more WOKADINE MENTHOL FLAVOUR
- Contact your doctor or go to nearest hospital immediately
If you forget to use WOKADINE MENTHOL FLAVOUR
- If you forget to use WOKADINE MENTHOL FLAVOUR, use it as soon as you remember or at the usual time
If you stop using WOKADINE MENTHOL FLAVOUR
- Do not stop using WOKADINE MENTHOL FLAVOUR unless your doctor tells you
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
- irritation, swelling or redness
- allergic and local irritation such as urticaria, pruritus, erythema, small blisters, angioedema.
- thyroid dysfunction
- Keep this medicine out of reach of children.
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date.
- Store at room temperature (15-25°C)
