Introduction About VYLDA DM TABLET
VYLDA DM TABLET is a combination of Dapagliflozin, metformin, and vildagliptin, which belongs to a group of medicines called Antidiabetic agents. It is used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Along with management, follow a regular exercise and diet plan as advised by the doctor to achieve better results.
Dapagliflozin increases urinary glucose excretion and reduces blood glucose levels. Metformin works to control blood sugar by helping insulin, naturally produced by your body, decrease the amount of sugar your liver makes and also decrease the amount of sugar your intestines absorb. Vildagliptin is a potent and selective dipeptidylpeptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that improves glycemic control. Vildagliptin inhibition of DPP-4 results in increased fasting and postprandial endogenous levels of the incretin hormones GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide 1) and GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide).
VYLDA DM TABLET is not recommended if you have type 1 diabetes, diabetic ketoacidosis, acute or chronic metabolic acidosis, a history of lactic acidosis, or severe dehydration. Before taking it, inform your doctor if you are scheduled for surgery, x-ray or scanning procedures, or vitamin B12 or folic acid deficiency. VYLDA DM TABLET is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women. The safety and effectiveness of VYLDA DM TABLET in children and adolescents have not been established.
When taking VYLDA DM TABLET, alcohol consumption is not recommended. The most common side effects of taking VYLDA DM TABLET are low sugar levels, painful urination, repetitive urination, inflammation of the penis (in men), and allergic reactions. Contact your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen or persist for a longer duration.

How VYLDA DM TABLET Works
VYLDA DM TABLET is a combination of dapagliflozin, metformin, and vildagliptin, which helps to lower blood glucose levels. By lowering blood glucose levels, dapagliflozin helps to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes.
