Introduction About VIZYLAC GG SACHET

Vizylac GG Sachet is a probiotic, used to manage diarrhoea, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, diarrhea caused by rotavirus (in babies and children) and travellers’ diarrhoea. It is also used to relieve symptoms such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Also, it is used to manage colic in babies and atopic dermatitis in children.

Lactobacillus Rhamnosus is a probiotic, which enhances the immune response also serves as a source of macro- and micronutrients, contributes to enzymatic digestion, modifies toxin receptors, and manages toxin-mediated disease. It also acts as an antibacterial which inhibits both gram-positive and gram-negative enteric bacteria. Additionally, manages the colonization of harmful bacteria by competitively inhibiting microbial adhesion sites.

Always take Vizylac GG Sachet as advised by the physician. The contents of the sachet can be consumed directly or can be mixed with lukewarm water and consumed. When taking antibiotics, use Vizylac GG Sachet at least 2 hours before or after taking antibiotics. It should not be taken by patients with bowel perforation (hole in the intestine) or patients at risk of bowel perforation or severely immunocompromised individuals.

Safety Advice

  • Always take Vizylac GG Sachet as advised by your physician
  • Adults should take 1-2 Vizylac GG Sachets daily or as directed by your doctor. For children administer one-half to one sachet per day
  • The contents of the sachet can be consumed directly or can be mixed with 15 ml of lukewarm water and consumed. For children open the sachet and stir the contents into a cool drink or mix into baby food or applesauce
  • When taking antibiotics, use Vizylac GG Sachet at least 2 hours before or after taking antibiotics
  • Do not use Vizylac GG Sachet if you are allergic to any of its ingredients
  • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding women before taking Vizylac GG Sachet
  • Vizylac GG Sachet should not be taken by patients with bowel perforation (hole in the intestine) or patients at risk of bowel perforation or in severe immunocompromised states
  • Vizylac GG Sachet should be taken with caution in patients with diarrhoea lasting for more than 2 days accompanied by fever, weakened immune system (because of chemotherapy or HIV infection), diabetes, phenylketonuria (PKU), short gut syndrome (condition in which body is unable to absorb nutrients from food), recurring vaginal and urinary tract infection
  • Inform your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines including prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as a vitamin supplement or herbal products
