Talk to your doctor if you:
- are allergic to any other ingredients of this medicine
- have severe liver or kidney disease
- have hepatitis B infection
- have Stevens-Johnson syndrome, erythema multiforme, or toxic skin eruptions
- have a history of psychiatric disorders
- have or had epilepsy
- have a history of drug or alcohol abuse
- have a heart problem
- have bone problems
- This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
- Consult your doctor for advice before giving this medicine to children
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
- elbasvir and grazoprevir
- clarithromycin, rifabutin, rifampin (medicines for bacterial infections)
- foscarnet, ganciclovir, cidofovir (medicines for viral infections)
- carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital (used to manage epilepsy)
- diltiazem or similar medicines (calcium channel blockers)
- warfarin or acenocoumarol (medicines used to reduce clotting of the blood)
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- Swallow the medicine with a glass of water
- Do not crush or chew the medicine
If you take more TENOLAM E
- If you take more of this medicine, talk to your doctor or go to a nearest hospital immediately
If you forget to take TENOLAM E
- If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember it, however if it is nearly time for the next dose skip the missed dose
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking TENOLAM E
- Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells to do so
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
- allergic reactions
- lactic acidosis (too much lactic acid in your blood)
- severe liver problems marked by yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting
- kidney problems
- sadness, anxiety, hallucinations (psychiatric problems)
- inflammation of the pancreas
- rash
- dizziness or drowsiness
- trouble sleeping
- unusual dreams
- itching, fever, swelling of your face, blisters or skin lesions
- peeling skin, mouth sores
- red or inflamed eyes
- increases in blood fat levels
- seizures
- irregular heartbeats
- bone pain, softening or thinning (which may lead to fractures)
- Keep this medicine out of reach of children
- Store at a room temperature of 15-25ºC
