Introduction About TACLIMENT EYE OINTMENT
TACLIMENT EYE OINTMENT contains Tacrolimus which belongs to the group of medicines called Immunosuppressants. It is used to manage allergic eye conditions (such as allergic conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis, etc.). It also reduces eye inflammation and dryness. It can also be used to manage corneal graft rejection following corneal transplantation.
Apply a small amount of TACLIMENT EYE OINTMENT into the affected eye(s). It is for ophthalmic use only. Wash your hands before and after application. Avoid touching the tip of the ointment tube with your mouth, nose or other parts of body to avoid contamination.
If you wear soft contact lenses, make sure to remove them before applying TACLIMENT EYE OINTMENT. Consult your doctor about the usage of contact lenses while undergoing management with TACLIMENT EYE OINTMENT.
Before using TACLIMENT EYE OINTMENT inform your doctor if you have pre-existing disease conditions such as autoimmune disease or skin disorders. You must also inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems.
Do not use TACLIMENT EYE OINTMENT if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting your doctor. TACLIMENT EYE OINTMENT is not suitable for use in infants and toddlers aged below 2 years.
The use of TACLIMENT EYE OINTMENT is generally safe and well tolerated. However, it may cause mild eye irritation, discomfort or redness in some individuals. Consult your doctor if this bothers you.

How to use TACLIMENT EYE OINTMENT
