Introduction About SYSTAFLAM SPRAY
Systaflam Spray act as an analgesic that is used for instant relief from low back pain, joint pain, neck pain, sprains, strains, and sports injuries. It contains diclofenac, mephenesin, turpentine, methyl salicylate and menthol as active ingredients that work together to relieve pain.
Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that inhibits cyclooxygenase activity, which in turn manages the production of prostaglandins and other inflammatory mediators responsible to induce pain and inflammation.
Mephenesin reduces the excitability of nerve cells, decreasing action potentials to muscle fibres and thus reducing muscle stiffness. Turpentine oil produces warmth and redness that reduce pain in the tissue below. Menthol causes a cooling effect that helps reduce pain in the tissues just below the surface of the skin.
Methyl salicylate relieves musculoskeletal discomfort in the muscles, joints, and tendons by reversibly inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzyme and locally and peripherally managing the production of inflammatory mediators.
Always use Systaflam Spray as advised by the physician. It is for external use only. Shake well before use. Spray it on the affected areas 3-4 times a day or as directed by the physician. Do not apply Systaflam Spray on open wounds and avoid direct inhalation.
