Constipation
Managing constipation involves adopting several lifestyle and dietary changes. Increasing fiber intake by consuming more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes can help promote regular bowel movements. Establishing a routine by setting aside time each day for a bowel movement can also be beneficial. Over-the-counter laxatives may provide short-term relief, but they should be used sparingly and under a doctor's guidance. If constipation persists, consulting a healthcare provider is important to rule out underlying conditions and receive personalized management recommendations.
Dry Mouth
Stay hydrated by sipping water throughout the day. Over-the-counter saliva substitutes or mouthwashes specifically designed for dry mouth can provide relief. Avoiding caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco, which can exacerbate dryness, is also recommended.
