Tell your doctor if you might take any other medicines such as:

• thiazide diuretics drugs (used to manage high blood pressure, renal calcium reabsorption)
• phenytoin (used to manage seizures)
• barbiturates (used to manage insomnia, anxiety, seizures)
• glucocorticoids (steroid hormones with anti-inflammatory effects)
• digitalis, cardiac glycosides (used to manage irregular heartbeats and other heart conditions)
• thyroxine (used to manage thyroid hormone deficiency)
• bisphosphonates (used to manage osteoporosis)
• sodium fluoride drugs (used to manage cavities, dental conditions)
• quinolone, tetracycline antibiotics (used to manage various infections)
• iron supplements
• other vitamins, minerals, herbal supplements you may have obtained without a prescription

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
• Swallow the medicine whole with a glass of water
• Continue to follow any advice about diet recommended by your doctor 

If you take more SHELCAL CT

• If you, either accidentally, or just happen to take more than the prescribed dose of this medicine, contact your doctor for advice

If you forget to take SHELCAL CT

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember
• If you do not remember until it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule
• Do not take a double dose of this medicine

If you stop taking SHELCAL CT

• Do not stop taking this medicine until your doctor tells you to do so
