Introduction About SENSODENT K PLUS PASTE
Sensodent K Plus Paste is a non-fluoridated foaming toothpaste which rapidly relieves painful sensitivity of teeth and gives clean and fresh feeling. It reduces demineralisation and restores the loss of mineral structures. Sensodent K Plus Paste contains potassium nitrate and calcium sucrose phosphate as the key ingredients that are essential for the maintenance of healthy teeth.
Potassium nitrate is a desensitising agent that blocks the exposed dentinal tubules (tooth structure which is present next to the enamel layer) which are responsible for causing painful sensitivity. It builds up potassium ions over the tooth surface which protects against the sensitivity if teeth to stimuli such as heat, cold, and sweet. Calcium sucrose phosphate helps to reduce the acid solubility of enamel and increases the salivary calcium levels, thereby it enriches the teeth with minerals to manage tooth decay.
Always use Sensodent K Plus Paste as advised by your physician/dentist. Take a pea size amount of toothpaste in a brush and twice daily. It is for dental use only. Do not use Sensodent K Plus Paste if you are allergic to any of its components.
