Introduction About REXIDIN 0.2% MOUTH WASH
Rexidin 0.2% Mouth Wash is an antiseptic and antiplaque mouthwash used to manage gingivitis, aphthous ulcer and candida infection. Also, used during periodontal surgery to control dental caries and for the maintenance of oral hygiene. It contains chlorhexidine gluconate as an active ingredient that exhibits antimicrobial action.
Chlorhexidine helps in achieving plaque inhibition by exhibiting an immediate bactericidal action at the time of application and provides a prolonged bacteriostatic activity by adsorbing to the pellicles present on the enamel surface.
Always use Rexidin 0.2% Mouth Wash as advised by the doctor. It is for dental use only. Recommended usage is 5 ml twice daily or as directed by the doctor. Rinse vigorously around the gums and teeth for one minute and then spit out. Do not rinse with water or eat/drink anything for 10 minutes.
