How RESPICURE SYRUP Works

RESPICURE SYRUP is a combination of ambroxol, guaiphenesin, terbutaline, and menthol, where ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that thins and loosens the mucus (phlegm) and makes it easier to cough out. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that decreases the stickiness of secretions present in the airways, thins the mucous, and helps in their removal from the airways. Menthol is an organic compound (cooling agent) that produces a sensation of coolness by stimulating the cold receptors and relieves minor throat irritation. Terbutaline belongs to the bronchodilator, which relaxes the muscles in the airways and results in the widening of the airways. Together, they make breathing easier and eliminate coughing.
