Introduction About RESPICURE SYRUP

RESPICURE SYRUP contains Ambroxol, Guaiphenesin, Terbutaline, and Menthol, which belong to the group of medicines called Mucolytics, Expectorants, Bronchodilators, and Cooling agents, respectively. It is used to manage productive cough associated with bronchospasm, bronchitis, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchiectasis, and chest congestion.

Before starting management with RESPICURE SYRUP, your doctor might want you to take some diagnostic tests.

RESPICURE SYRUP should be used with caution in patients with liver, kidney, and heart diseases, high blood pressure, uncontrolled diabetes, hyperthyroidism, seizures (fits), and a history of stomach ulcers.

RESPICURE SYRUP should be used with caution by pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor for advice before taking.

Terbutaline belongs to the bronchodilator, which relaxes the muscles in the airways and results in the widening of the airways. Together, they make breathing easier and eliminate coughing.

• Other bronchodilators (Ex. aminophylline) and beta-2 agonists (Ex. albuterol)
• Corticosteroids such as prednisolone (used to manage inflammation)
• Diuretics such as chlorthalidone (used to get rid of water and sodium from the body)
• Monoamine oxidase inhibitors such as isocarboxazid, tricyclic antidepressants such as amitriptyline, nortriptyline (used to manage depression)

Overdosage:

If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of RESPICURE SYRUP, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.
