Introduction About REDION SOFTGEL CAPSULE
Redion Softgel Capsule is an iron supplement, used to manage anaemia due to hook worm, anaemia during pregnancy, anaemia in post-operative and post traumatic conditions, dimorphic anaemia due to deficiency of iron and folic acid. Also, it is used in conditions such as general weakness and lack of appetite. It contains ferrous asparto glycinate, L-methylfolate and methylcobalamin as active ingredients to manage anaemia due to varied reasons.
Ferrous asparto glycinate is a chelated iron containing a combination of aspartic acid and glycine with iron. Iron plays an important role in the production of red blood cells which carries oxygen. Methylcobalamin is a vitamin B12 that helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells. Folic acid is the synthetic form of folate that is found in food sources. It helps in red blood cell formation and manages DNA changes.
