Introduction About PHYTORAL BAR
Phytoral Bar is an anti-fungal and anti-microbial soap that is used to manage various fungal skin infections caused such as those occurring at feet (tinea pedis), intimate regions of groin, perineal and perineum areas (tinea cruris), and at any part of the body (tinea corporis) caused by Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes and Epidermophyton floccosum.
It can also be used for the topical management of cutaneous candidiasis. It contains ketoconazole and triclosan as active ingredients that helps control fungal infections.
Ketoconazole helps with the interruption in making of ergosterol (an essential component of fungal cell membranes), that disrupts the fungal cell membrane. Triclosan acts as an anti-bacterial agent that kills the microbes and other germs on skin, thus keeping the skin surface free of germs.
Always use Phytoral Bar as directed by your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Ask your doctor before using Phytoral Bar during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established so consult your child’s doctor before using it.
