Introduction About PACINOVA ORAL DROPS
Pacinova Oral Drops is a painkiller and anti-pyretic medicine. It is used to manage pyrexia (including recurrent fever), body ache and traumatic injury in children. It contains paracetamol as an active ingredient that reduces fever and pain.
Paracetamol relieves pain by increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in synthesis of chemicals responsible for inducing pain (prostaglandins). It reduces fever by directly acting on heat-regulating centers in the brain, resulting in vessel relaxation, sweating and loss of body heat.
Always give Pacinova Oral Drops to your child as advised by the doctor. Shake well before use. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage as it may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions. Use a measuring dropper to properly measure the dose. Do not give Pacinova-DS Oral Suspension to your child if your child is allergic to any of its components.
