Introduction About OZORED RF TABLET

OZORED-RF Tablet is a nutritional supplement used to manage iron deficiency anaemia (decrease in the count of red blood cells). It contains iron and folic acid as active ingredients that helps overcome nutritional deficiencies.

Ferrous ascorbate (iron) is an essential component of haemoglobin and is necessary for effective formation of red blood cells. It also serves as a cofactor of several essential enzymes.

Folic acid is required for synthesis of nucleoprotein, purine nucleotides and the metabolism of some amino acids, normal growth and cell reproduction, and the maintenance of normal RBC formation.

Take OZORED-RF Tablet exactly as advised by your physician. It is not recommended for use if you have any metabolic disorders (Ex. hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, hemoglobinopathies), inflammatory bowel disease or vitamin B12 deficiency.

OZORED-RF Tablet should be used with caution in patients with erythropoietic protoporphyria (accumulation of protoporphyrins in RBCs that causes acute, painful photosensitivity and potential liver disease).

Side Effects Of OZORED RF TABLET

OZORED-RF Tablet may cause nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea and allergic reactions in some individuals. Consult your doctor if you notice any such effects while taking it.

Safety Advice

• Take OZORED-RF Tablet exactly as advised by your physician
• Take one tablet 1-2 times daily or as directed by the doctor
• Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it
• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose
• Do not take OZORED-RF Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking it
• It is not recommended for use if you have any metabolic disorders (Ex. hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, hemoglobinopathies), inflammatory bowel disease or vitamin B12 deficiency
• It should be used with caution in patients with erythropoietic protoporphyria
• Safety and efficacy in children have not been established so, consult your child’s doctor for advice
• Inform your doctor on all the medicines you use, including prescription, over-the-counter medications and herbal supplements
