Before taking ORLIQUEST 60 CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have cholestasis, malnutrition syndrome, diabetes, or kidney disease. ORLIQUEST 60 CAPSULE is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. ORLIQUEST 60 CAPSULE is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (below 18 years of age), therefore consult your doctor before taking the medicine.

The most common side effects of taking ORLIQUEST 60 CAPSULE are flatulence, with or without oily spotting, sudden bowel motions, fatty, oily, or soft stools, and stomach pain. Contact your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen or persists for a long duration.

Before taking ORLIQUEST 60 CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:

• ciclosporin (used after organ transplant)
• medicines used to thin the blood (Ex. warfarin, clopidogrel)
• oral contraceptives (Ex. ethinyl estradiol, progestin)
• acarbose (used to manage diabetes)
• levothyroxine (used to manage hypothyroidism)
• medicines used to manage epilepsy (Ex. carbamazepine, phenytoin)
• medicines used to manage viral infection (Ex. abacavir, lamivudine)
• medicines used for depression, psychiatric disorders, or anxiousness (Ex. amitriptyline, phenobarbital, fluoxetine)
• medicines used to manage blood pressure (Ex. enalapril, atenolol)
• medicines used to lower cholesterol levels in the blood (Ex. atorvastatin, simvastatin)

Overdosage:

If you or anyone else accidentally takes too much of ORLIQUEST 60 CAPSULE, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital.

A: It is used for weight reduction in adults (18 years and above) who are overweight and have a body mass index (BMI) of 28 or more. Obesity is defined as abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that presents a risk to health. A body mass index (BMI) over 25 is considered overweight, and over 30 is obese.
