What ORAXIN is used for?

  • ORAXIN is used for loss of appetite, weight loss, anorexia nervosa, and as an adjunct to anti-tubercular and antiretroviral regimens for weight gain
  • In children, it is indicated in underweight children who have inadequate dietary intake or loss of appetite and children suffering from anemia, liver or digestive disorder

Talk to your doctor if you:

  • are allergic  to any other ingredients of this medicine
  • have heart problem
  • have asthma
  • have high blood pressure
  • have eye problem
  • stenosing peptic ulcer
  • symptomatic prostatic hypertrophy
  • bladder neck obstruction or pyloroduodenal obstruction
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine
  • Your healthcare provider will prescribe the right dose for the children based on their age and weight
  • Do not drive or operate machinery, since this medicine may cause drowsiness

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • MAO inhibitors
  • CNS depressants like, hypnotics, sedatives, tranquilizers and antianxiety agents
  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • The dose is based on age, body weight and disease condition
  • Shake the bottle well before use

If you take more  ORAXIN

  •  If you take more of this medicine, talk to your doctor or go to your nearest hospital immediately

If you forget to take  ORAXIN

  • If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember it, however if it is nearly time for the next dose skip the missed dose

If you stop taking  ORAXIN

  •  Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells to do so
