Introduction About MONTEVAC DX TABLET

MONTEVAC DX TABLET is used in the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used to manage inflammation of the airways (such as bronchitis) and can provide relief from the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (nasal congestion, repeated sneezing, nasal itching, or red, watery, and itchy eyes) among asthmatic patients.

It is a combination of Acebrophylline and Montelukast, which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-asthmatic drugs that block the release of certain chemicals that are responsible for airway inflammation, swelling, and narrowing. As a result, it widens the airways and reduces airway inflammation. It also loosens the mucus accumulated in the airways, which allows the air to pass more freely through the airways and makes breathing easier.

Before taking MONTEVAC DX TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have fits, stomach ulcers, viral infections, hypertension, or hyperthyroidism as a precaution.

MONTEVAC DX TABLET is not recommended for use by pregnant women. It should be used for breastfeeding women only if it is considered necessary by the physician.

The most common side effects of taking MONTEVAC DX TABLET are epigastric pain, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headaches, and respiratory tract infections. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects trouble you.

Engage in physical therapy or vestibular rehabilitation exercises designed to improve balance and reduce dizziness. Move slowly when changing positions, such as standing up or lying down, to avoid triggering dizziness. Practice relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, or yoga to manage stress, which can contribute to dizziness. Consult your doctor if dizziness persists.

Headache

Ensure adequate fluid intake, as dehydration can cause headaches. Maintain a consistent sleep schedule, aiming for 7-9 hours of quality sleep per night. Eat balanced meals at regular intervals to avoid blood sugar fluctuations that can trigger headaches. Practice relaxation techniques such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises to reduce stress levels. Engage in regular physical exercise, which can help reduce the frequency and severity of headaches. Apply a cold pack or warm compress to the forehead or neck to alleviate pain.

Nausea And Vomiting

Stay hydrated with small sips of clear fluids like water, ginger ale, or electrolyte solutions. Avoid consuming large meals; instead, opt for bland, easy-to-digest foods. Ginger, peppermint, or chamomile tea may help soothe the stomach. Rest in a comfortable position, preferably with your head elevated, to ease symptoms.
