Introduction About MINOKEM N 2% SOLUTION
MINOKEM N 2% SOLUTION is a combination of Azelaic acid, Minoxidil and Tretinoin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Dermatological preparations. It is indicated for management of Androgenetic alopecia in both males and females. Androgenetic alopecia is expressed in males as baldness of the vertex of the scalp and/or as frontal hair recession. In females, it is expressed as diffuse hair loss or thinning in the fronto parietal areas.
Androgenetic alopecia is a genetically determined, patterned, progressive loss of hair from the scalp and occurs in both men and women. Both androgens and genetics play a role in its pathogenesis. Before using MINOKEM N 2% SOLUTION, inform your doctor if are allergic to any medicines. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, flushing area with large amounts of cool tap water if accidental contact occurs.
MINOKEM N 2% SOLUTION is not recommended in infants. Safety and efficacy have not been established for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. Consult your doctor for advice. The common side effects of MINOKEM N 2% SOLUTION are application site reactions such as burning, stinging, or redness, contact dermatitis and allergic reactions. How MINOKEM N 2% SOLUTION Works
MINOKEM N 2% SOLUTION is a dermatological preparation that contains Azelaic Acid, Minoxidil and Tretinoin. Azelaic acid inhibits the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), manage hair follicle damage and hair loss. Minoxidil stimulates hair growth, increases cutaneous blood flow as a result of vasodilation, stimulates resting hair follicles (telogen phase) into active growth (anagen phase). Tretinoin binds to nuclear retinoic acid receptor, normalize the pattern of keratinization and promotes, regulates cell proliferation and differentiation in the epithelium and may promote vascular proliferation.
How to use MINOKEM N 2% SOLUTION
Apply MINOKEM N 2% SOLUTION as advised by your physician. Clean and dry the scalp area before applying the medicine. Open the cap and take the right quantity of the medicine and apply on the affected scalp area with the dropper provided. Spread the solution evenly with the fingertip. Your doctor will decide the right dose and duration for you depending upon your age and disease condition.

- folliculitis (acne, inflammation or soreness at root of hair)
- burning, stinging, or redness (at the application site)

- unusual weight gain, tiredness, difficulty breathing especially when lying down
