Introduction About MELOTRYP TABLET

Melotryp Tablet is indicated to establish normal sleep patterns in patients having occasional sleeplessness. It can also be used to manage shift-work sleep disorders in people with alternating work schedules, people experiencing jetlag and for general insomnias. It contains melatonin as an active ingredient which helps to promote wake-sleep cycle thereby enhances a regular and healthy sleep pattern in patients experiencing sleep disturbances.

Melatonin mimics the effects of natural sleep hormone. It works by stimulating certain receptors in the brain and other areas of the body. Thus, helps to control the sleep and wake cycles.

Always take Melotryp Tablet exactly as advised by your doctor. Recommended dosage is 1 tablet before bedtime or as directed by the doctor. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage. It should not be used in patients having autoimmune disease, epilepsy (fits) or leukaemia (blood cancer). Pregnant, lactating mothers, infants, children and teenagers should not take this medicine unless advised by the doctor. Do not drive or operate any machines for 4-5 hours after taking this medicine.
