Mederma New Advanced Plus Scar Gel is a skincare gel that helps to reduce the appearance of old and new scars resulting from injury, burns, surgery, acne, and cut marks. It contains Allium cepa bulb extract, Allantoin, Panthenol, Lecithin and Sodium hyaluronate as active ingredients.

Allantoin is used as a moisturizing agent and skin protectant and helps to soften the skin. This property helps skin to heal more quickly and to bind moisture more effectively. Allium cepa bulb extract has antioxidant properties and can reduce scars and softens skin. Panthenol penetrates the skin and promotes wound healing and the formation of new tissue. It reduces the chances of scar formation and preserves the skin's integrity. Sodium hyaluronate promotes blood circulation and helps in wound healing.

Always use Mederma New Advanced Plus Scar Gel as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. It should be evenly applied and gently rubbed onto the scar once a day for 8 weeks on new scars, and once a day for 3-6 months for existing scars. Apply as soon as your wound has closed. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use it on broken skin.
