Talk to your Doctor if you:
- are allergic to any other ingredients of this medicine
- have ever had heart problems
- have asthma, wheezing or any other similar breathing problems, or Insect stings
- have a type of chest pain (angina) called Prinz metal’s angina
- have diabetes
- have thyrotoxicosis (a condition caused by an overactive thyroid gland)
- have problems with your kidneys
- have severely impaired liver function
- are suffering from gout
- have systemic lupus erythematosus
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine
- LOSAR BETA H is not recommended for use in Children and Adolescents
- If you feel dizzy or tired when taking this medicine, do not drive or use any tools or machines
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
- clonidine Verapamil, Digoxin, Diltiazem, nifedipine, sulfonamides, aliskiren
- disopyramide, quinidine or amiodarone (used to manage uneven heart beat)
- adrenaline, also known as epinephrine (that stimulates the heart)
- ibuprofen or indometacin (for pain and inflammation)
- insulin, Oral hypoglycemic agents (used to manage diabetes)
- medicines to manage nose or sinus congestion or other cold remedies
- lithium, antipsychotics, antidepressants (used to manage depression)
- laxatives (used to manage Constipation)
- medicines for the management of gout
- carbamazepine (used to manage epilepsy)
- mizolastin, terfenadine (used to manage allergic rhinitis)
- ciclosporin (used to prevent organ rejection)
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- Take this medicine at the same time of the day each day
- This medicine can be swallowed with a whole glass of water
- Do not crush or chew the medicine
If you take more LOSAR BETA H
- If you take more of this medicine,talk to a doctor or go to a nearest hospital immediately
- Symptoms of over dosage can cause a drop-in blood pressure, palpitations, slow pulse, changes in blood composition, and dehydration
If you forget to take LOSAR BETA H
- If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
If you stop taking LOSAR BETA H
- Do not stop taking this medicine without talking to your doctor
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
- allergic reaction includes such as raised lumps on your skin (weals), or swelling of your face, lips, mouth, tongue or throat
- pulse rate becomes slower
- cold hands and feet
- diarrhoea
- feeling sick (nausea)
- kidney failure
- cough, upper airway infection, congestion in the nose, sinusitis
- abdominal pain, nausea, indigestion
- muscle pain or cramps, leg pain, back pain
- insomnia, headache, dizziness
- weakness, tiredness, chest pain
- too low sugar in the blood (hypoglycaemia)
- disturbed sleep
- reduction in white blood cells
- inflammation of the pancreas which causes severe pain in the abdomen and back
- anxiety, nervousness, panic disorder (recurring panic attacks), confusion, depression, abnormal dreams, sleep disorders, sleepiness, memory impairment
- pins and needles or similar sensations
- pain in the extremities, trembling, migraine, fainting
- blurred vision, burning or stinging in the eyes, conjunctivitis, worsening eyesight
- ringing, buzzing, roaring or clicking in the ears, vertigo
- low blood pressure, which may be associated with changes in posture (feeling light-headed or weak when you stand up
- angina (chest pain)
- constipation, stomach upsets, stomach spasms, vomiting, dry mouth
- jaundice (yellowing of the eyes and skin)
- decreased sexual appetite, impotence
- swelling of the face, localised swelling (oedema)
- fever
- Keep this medicine out of reach of the children
- Store at a room temperature of 15-25ºC
