Introduction About LOREX ML MOUTH GEL

LOREX ML MOUTH GEL is used to manage halitosis, gingivitis, oral stomatitis, pain due to mouth ulcers, and food burns. It is also used to manage plaque growth on the teeth. LOREX GEL is a combination of Chlorhexidine, Metronidazole, and Lignocaine, which belong to the groups of medicines called Antiseptics, Nitroimidazoles, and Local Anaesthetics, respectively.

It works by healing ulcers by decreasing the number of bacteria in the mouth, leading to decreased swelling and redness of the gums; it also kills bacteria or other microorganisms by damaging their DNA; and it also provides relief from painful mouth sores by forming a protective coating over the sores and blocking their pain signals.

Always apply LOREX ML MOUTH GEL as directed by your physician. It is for oral use only. On the affected area, apply a thin layer with a clean finger or cotton swab 2-3 times a day. Do not rinse the mouth or eat anything for 30 minutes.

LOREX ML MOUTH GEL is not recommended for use in patients who are allergic to chlorhexidine or metronidazole. lignocaine, methyl hydroxybenzoate, propyl hydroxybenzoate, or para-aminobenzoic acid.

Before applying LOREX ML MOUTH GEL, inform your doctor if you have traumatized (injured) mucosa, sepsis (a life-threatening infection) in the application site, poor general health, severe liver disease and renal dysfunction, and/or a partial or complete heart block.
