KIMID SOAP contains Ketoconazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antimicrobials. It is used to manage fungal infections of the skin like dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis (a fungal infection causing dry or oily scaling of the scalp and other parts of the body).

Before using KIMID SOAP, inform your doctor if you have any allergies, or if you are using any steroids. KIMID SOAP can be usually used by pregnant and breastfeeding women but consult your doctor for advice.

KIMID SOAP is not recommended for use in infants and children. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, wash your eyes properly with water. Call your doctor if you experience any side effects or if any of the symptoms get worse.

KIMID SOAP reduces fungal infection where ketoconazole arrests growth in fungal cells and zinc pyrithione damages the proteins essential for fungal metabolism and growth.

How to use KIMID SOAP

Use KIMID SOAP as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Apply KIMID SOAP to the affected part of the skin and rub gently to develop enough lather. After two minutes, wash off thoroughly.

If KIMID SOAP accidentally gets in your eye, wash your eyes with water. Do not swallow it. Your doctor will decide the proper dose and duration of therapy for you according to your age, body weight and disease condition.

Wash your eyes with plain cold water. Apply an ice pack on your eye to soothe the irritation. Keep away from mobile phones, laptops, or television to avoid straining your eyes. Wear protective sunglasses while going outdoors. If irritation persists, contact your doctor.

If you forget to use KIMID SOAP, use it as soon as you remember and then continue your management as usual. Do not double the use to make up for the missed dose.
