Introduction About H PEG POWDER
H Peg Powder is a laxative used in the management of pediatric constipation. It contains polyethylene glycol as an active ingredient.
Polyethylene glycol is an osmotic laxative. It works by drawing water into the intestines via osmosis, which softens hard stools thus facilitating the easy passage of faeces. It also helps in cleansing the bowel prior to certain diagnostic and surgical procedures.
