What GENTALAB E/E is used for?

It is used,

  • to kill bacteria which cause infection
  • for the management of eye & ear infection

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

  • are allergic or hypersensitive to Gentamicin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
  • have a perforated ear drum
  • have suffer from myasthenia gravis and related conditions
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
  • Ask your doctor for advice before giving this medicine
  • Do not drive or operate machines if you experience blurred vision after using this medicine. Wait until your vision clears before driving or operating machines

Tell your doctor if you are applying any other type of eye, ear drops or eye, ear ointment before you start to use this medicine.

  • Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
  • Eye Dose: Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye every four hours as required
  • Ear Dose: The area should be cleaned, and 2-4 drops instilled 3-4 times daily

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
