Introduction About GABAQUIL GEL

GABAQUIL GEL is a combination of Gabapentin and Lidocaine which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-convulsant and Local anaesthetics respectively. It is used in painful neuropathic pain which is often associated with diabetes. Neuropathic pain is caused by damage or injury to the nerves that transfer information between the brain and spinal cord from the skin, muscles and other parts of the body.

Before applying this medicine inform your doctor if you have heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease. GABAQUIL GEL is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women unless considered clearly necessary. There is no proper information regarding the use of GABAQUIL GEL during breast feeding.
