INTRODUCTION

FINABALD 2.5MG contains Finasteride which belongs to the group of medicines called 5-Alpha reductase inhibitors. It is used to manage long-term symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) in men. Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (also known as enlarged prostate) is a non-cancerous growth of prostate gland, which is predominantly caused by excessive production of a stress hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body. Symptoms of BPH includes urinary problems such as difficulty in passing urine, urinary incontinence (unintentional passing of urine), frequent urination at night, sexual dysfunction, or painful ejaculation. FINABALD 2.5MG can also be used to manage hair loss in both men and in post-menopausal women.

Finasteride works by blocking the production of a stress hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body. This helps in the shrinkage of an enlarged prostate, improves urinary flow and other symptoms associated with BPH. It can also reduce hair loss, reverses balding process, and prevents further hair loss in both men and in postmenopausal women.

Before taking FINABALD 2.5MG inform your doctor if you are taking other medicines (Ex. dutasteride) to manage benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) as a precaution. Pregnant women should not come in contact with FINABALD 2.5MG as it may harm the growing baby. It is not suitable for use in children aged below 18 years. FINABALD 2.5MG is generally well tolerated. However, it may cause mild sexual side effects like decrease in libido or problems in erection or semen release. These side effects are usually temporary and gets reversed once the therapy is discontinued. However, contact your doctor if they trouble you.

HOW FINABALD 2.5MG WORKS

FINABALD 2.5MG works by blocking the production of a stress hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body. Blockade of DHT reduces hair loss, reverses balding process, and prevents further hair loss. It also helps in shrinkage of enlarged prostate in men which therefore relives signs and symptoms of BPH.

Take FINABALD 2.5MG as advised by your doctor. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. FINABALD 2.5MG can be taken with or without food.
